Post Producing Internship

Gigantic Studios is currently accepting applications for our Post Producing Internship program for Summer 2026. This hands-on internship is designed to provide meaningful exposure to professional post production workflows and processes with a primary focus on the administration of a post sound facility. As a Post Producing Intern, you'll gain practical experience supporting active projects while learning how a post production studio operates day to day by working closely with our post producers, mixers, and engineers across multiple stages of sound post-production. 

No technical or engineering experience is required. Film students, recent graduates, or anybody looking to acquire skills is welcome to apply. 

Internship Duration: June 1st, 2026 (earlier start date can be arranged) to August 28th, 2026

Time/Days Required: 2-3 days/ week on site at our NYC facility 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist post producers with project organization and client outreach by keeping information up to date in our CRM and internal tracking tools.

  • Administrative tasks and support with a focus on industry research, generating various lists and databases, and preparing written materials.

  • Read scripts and watch picture cuts to help identify project needs, such as key sound design moments or other post-production considerations for the quotation process.

  • Support with client-facing and day-to-day studio needs, including helping welcome clients at reception, preparing for sessions, and maintaining studio spaces.

  • Watch down projects for quality control, checking for technical issues, missing elements, or anything that needs to be flagged before delivery.

  • Providing general support, such as making runs and pitching in on miscellaneous tasks that keep the studio running smoothly.

Candidates should meet the following criteria to be considered:

  1. Availability to commit to 2–3 business days on site at the studio between the hours of 10am - 6pm.

  2. Strong interest in producing, post-production, creative workflows, and an eagerness to learn.

  3. Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. 

  4. Basic research, writing, and data analysis skills. 

  5. Familiarity with Google Drive and Monday.com, or similar organizational and CRM tools is a plus.
